Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Entry Requirements for PALS Training:
- Current registration as a Medical or Dental Practitioner, Intern, Junior Intern,
Professional Nurse or Paramedic
- Valid Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider Certificate or valid Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support Certificate.
- Successful completion of the entry test
A comprehensive 450-page PALS Provider Manual is supplied prior to Paediatric Advanced
Life Support Provider Course participation.
The paediatric advanced life support training provides a practical approach to the
recognition and handling of serious and life-threatening medical emergencies in
children. The course consists of hands-on practical training, workshops, tutorials,
case discussions, role-plays and data interpretation covering a wide spectrum of
acute medical emergencies.
