General Information
Language of Instruction
- The educational presentations, written
material and assessments are as a rule conducted in English; and as a result, the
delegates must be able to speak, write, understand and read English proficiently
- ATA is able to offer an English language
course through the University of Witwatersrand’s Language School, should the need
exist, prior to the delegate attending the training programme
- Training in other languages can be
arranged on request
Training Methodology
- A variety of methods will be used,
but most will focus on "deep learning", interaction and participation. Delegates
will be required to work individually and in groups
- The methods will include:
- Group interaction – discussions and
tasks
- Presentations by participants
- Case studies
- Web-based tuition
- Role play
- Visits to industries
- Didactic lectures
- Patient simulations
- OSCE’s
